The end of another phase to remember

Another phase is over and all is quiet here in the Seychelles. There is a distinctly autumnal feel in the air and the leaves on the trees are turning to shades of orange and red.

It really has been a phase to remember with record numbers of whale sharks and manta rays seen. With the monitoring completed both on Mahe and Curieuse Island our thanks goes out to all the volunteers for all the hard work they put in during their time here.

With only two weeks before the next phase starts preparations are underway to make it even better than the last. Who knows what the next ten weeks will hold? Not long now until we find out!

Staff and volunteers de-kit 'Manta' our research vessel for the the last time this phase.
