30/08/11 BBQ & Rugby for the Cap Ternay Crew

We are now into the middle of the 9th week it’s unbelievable how time flies when you are with good company and your having lots of fun.

Last week, we all went to watch the South Africa v New Zealand rugby at the Eish Bar on Eden Island. All the boys under the direction of Kiwi Dane performed the Haka, it was hilarious even after New Zealand lost they put so much pride in the execution.

We had a lovely barbecue or braii South Africa style, big fire outside the bar looking over to the bay.

The night was still young so we stayed for a bit of boogie and a couple of beers it was a good memorable night.

Feels like it hasn’t stopped raining for weeks, but it has brought lots of nice lunches and dinners to the Cap Ternay table we even managed to make croissants for breakfast, a big team effort.

Some of the Divemaster interns completed their Rescue Diver with the dive shops at the weekend. All of us are looking forward to the new challenges awaiting in two weeks when we move to our new homes in Beau Vallon.

The second group of five weekers are now surveying fish with the 10 weekers, so full steam ahead to finish to surveys by Friday then fun dives next week.
