To the Rescue

The sun was shining and the weather was sweet when this week seven GVI expedition members completed their PADI Rescue diver course with the Underwater Centre in Beau Vallon. Iona McDonald, Elizabeth Harris, Lee Cassiday, Tai Higgo, Michael Muller, Jarron Cole and Alex Filous all passed the course with flying colours after a grueling two days of dive skills and scenarios. The course is designed to teach the learner how to react in the case of emergencies and the correct procedures to deal with different situations.

All seven of the new Rescue divers are undertaking their divemaster internship programme with GVI here in the Seychelles and now they are one step closer to obtaining their professional dive qualification.
